Correspondence of Joseph Margoshes. 1932-1933.

Letters in Yiddish and Hebrew written by the Yiddish newspaper writer Joseph Margoshes. Many of the letters are to his wife, who was in Lakewood, NJ in 1953. There are handwritten notes to other family members on the backs of some of these letters. There are also a number of letters written in 1932-33 to people such as Rabbi Leopold Greenwald of Columbus, Rabbi Reuven Margolies, then in Lwow, Poland, Leonard Mishkin, then in New Orleans, and the bookseller J. Biegeleisen of Brooklyn. In the letter to Mishkin, Margoshes lists articles he wrote in various Yiddish newspapers.
